The nose shows a little grapefruit and green pepper. The mid palate is practically nonexistent, almost water like, the finish is the redeeming part, with lively acidity and fruit. Not offensive in any way, but a finish only good, does good not wine make. I think Yoda said that. ($9)

Head to head with Pacific Rim Gewurz 06. Very similar stylistically. Great acidity, fresh, clean flavors. Paired with Thai food - this one did better with the brown sauce stir fry. A bit of the gooseberry that the '04 had but much more muted.

No notes but this wine accompanied a seafood cookout quite well and the entire group commented on it. A lively, bright, citrusy summer wine.

Green apple, green pepper, peach. Slightly sippy finish. Nice.
