Popped and poured. Riedel Vinum Bordeaux stems and 58 F. Clear with pale lemon color, Nose pronounced, dominated by citrus and green fruit, floral perfume, resinous sage-cedar and slight burnt rubber. Medium high acid with a light medium body. Palate is in line with nose with grapefruit, gooseberry, bready yeast and vanilla oak... This wine was ready drink and seemed to be showing it's age. The slightly disagreeable rubber smell did blow off after 30 min.. Please note this is one of the few California producers that makes a sauvignon blanc that is age worthy..

The Happy Canyon SB is beautiful. Was a great match with the mixed salad with apples and cranberries. Bright, crisp flavors with plenty of acidity, citrus, and peach flavors. A crowd pleaser!

Please note this is one of the few California producers that makes a sauvignon blanc that is age worthy...This wine will likely improve with some bottle age. Very consistant, I can't argue with my previous notes

Aged well, but oak was now overpowering the fruit. Perhaps with the right meal it could still shine. Drink up.
