Very blah, not much nose, not much on the palate. Maybe a bad bottle so I'm not giving a score, but it seemed more like it is just a very bland, boring wine.

Tasted after 6 hours of decanting (I went a little crazy, but I always recommend a long period with wines from the Medoc). Nice deep ruby/purple hue showing a faint sign of age. Traditional cedar and pencil shavings nose. Black cherry, blackcurrant, cocoa and tobacco box taste. Subtle tannins that definitely faded over 9 years. Medium to full-bodied wine that can come across a little sweet and tart. If you don't like this wine, classic Pauillac's aren't for you. This is the Third wine of Pichon Lalande - I'd love to have a side-by-side tasting of all three. Enjoy!

- Ruby color with medium forming legs and aromas of tea, blackberry and raisin. It's balanced and has flavours of tea, blackberry, raisin, rose and coffee with a medium body. Silky texture with a medium finish - A very nice 3rd wine when the price is ard HK$200. Elegant and smooth. Giving a hint of taste of the very splendid 1st wine. Although not a good year, the producer still managed to get a nice balance between the sweetness and acidity.

This was a nice Pauillac. I would buy again at this price.

Dark purple in color, on palate it tasted a little too acidic for me. Nose is closed. It got better after 45 mins. Disappointed..
