  • Surprisingly dark and dense, but good fruit and life still. For price it shows very nicely. Perfect roast chicken/duck at home on a Sunday night kind of wine. There are undoubtedly greater red wines from Burgundy but there is a pleasing, successful modesty about this.

  • PnP. Relatively dark and dense, this seemed a real child of its terroir - black plum/cherry against dark earth; a little rustic in feeling but certainly not markedly. Showing early signs of evolution and conplexity, and became a bit richer and more polished with air, but I think overall this will show better in a few more years ***(*)

  • Earthy, smoke and char, clove, and mineral in the complex, cool nose; very high acid dominates the otherwise enjoyable black cherry and strawberry palate of this mid-weight wine. Quite nice and seemingly built to age.

  • A little thin, but improved in the glass. The color is pale, cherry, and the nose is pleasant. This is a servicable burg and I enjoyed it. It's not DRC but didn't think it would be. Pleasant daily wine.
