Checking notes: first tasted some seven years ago; our association with White Rose has been quite long. No longer Copper River but King - a different beast but still appropriate for a Willamette PN. Somewhat pale hue with a hint of brick around the edges; the nose has some smoke, resin and funky notes along with crushed rose petals. Moderate - high acid, tart red cherries, noticeably improved with time open. Still good but perhaps no improvement expected.

Holding up much better than many 06 Oregon PN. Lighter in body but tons of pure fruit. Strawberry, Rainier cherry. Decent finish, with a hint of alcohol.

Cherry, Strawberry and watermelon. Nice understated caramelized oak. Lighter in body than I would have expected. Showing nicely but I would drink it soon.

This a was a very nice bottle of wine after decanting for over an hour. If you have any left, drink it now. No velvety, nice acid or spicy talk here...the wine was good, but it needed time to open up.

Nice red fruit aromas. Some spice, rose petals. Smells as if there is some whole cluster. Medium weight. Reminds me more of an 07 than 06 in terms of style. The wine really opened up with some air. Good balance and bright finish. I liked it and would drink now...doubt it will improve significantly.
