  • I've never had this varietal before, so I dont know if this is typical, but this is a very interesting and juicy young wine.

Dark straw color in the glass, nose is wet stone and herbs, with some apple and pear wafting in, and just a slight hint of toasted oak. Palate is extremely juicy with an explosion of very rich fruit balanced with a zippy acidity. Slightly nutty tang (almond?) with notes of peach, pear, tutti frutti and some savory herbs. Went very well with apple cider roasted pork chops.
