  Wine of great complexity, especially considering this is a Cab Franc on its own. It has aged wonderfully and it still has potential for a couple more years. Tannis supple but present, potent acidity, perfectly dry, nose restrained with blueberry/forest fruit on the front, hint of lilly of the valley. Some very fine sediment in suspension but no signs of a fault. A very real wine that is a great expression of the region. Quite different from later vintages of 2004 and 2006 in not having much earthiness. A real gem for those who like a great wine with character.
