  Dark healthy color, no signs of bricking. Quite complex nose of dark fruit and spices. Similar on the palate, dark blue berries, medium body, tannins and oak fully integrated, oak is only present as a slightly creamy texture. Quite ripe and medium acidity but a very elegant package. Long finish. This is the oldest Austrian red I ever had and I have to say that it was a very pleasurable experience. I have no idea of the future potential but in it's current state the wine is certainly outstanding. Drink or hold.
