  While I'm rating this only a high average, I do want to say that it's surprisingly good for a Georgia wine- I'd rate most Georgia wines I've had so far as below average. I ran this wine through a Vinturi. Pre-Vinturi, it had hints of the sweetness that showed more fully afterwards, but it also had some odd-tasting qualities to it as well. There's a grape juice-ish sweetness to this. It's not port-sweet, but there's more sweetness than in most reds. A bit of spice on the finish. The nose is odd- there's some sweetness to it, but it also smells a little off. My wife thinks that there's a musty and medicinal quality to the nose as well. This is not a complex wine, but it's drinkable.

  Good wine drank... Pat bought at winery drank same day...... good stuff.... little light.. compared to a Pinot Noir
