  This is the second bottle of this, and I have been very happy both times. Yes it is from the Barossa, which is a region you wouldn't expect it to do well but I was pretty impressed with the fruit and the crisp acid finish.

  Northern Barossa Valley apparently and apparently a cooler sight. Don't understand how this would work as Nth BV doesn't really venture under 'hot'. Anyway, works ok here. Great nose of classical varietal fruits and is lifted and fresh. Simple, but good. Palate nowhere in the same class; falls flat with dulling fruits and developing flabby edge. Still ok for a sub $20 Gewurzt but not really worth the effort.
