Dark amber colour, Lovely aromas of walnuts and singed mandarin zest. Intense flavours of mandarin, toasted nuts, some salinity, zingy acidity, and a very long finish. Great VFM.

Smells of brown sugar, orange peel and almonds. Dry, nice tang to it, earthy Oloroso type notes but with a nice fresh salty lift. Nutty finish. Not the most intense but for £12 this cant be beaten. Great chilled as an aperitif but also great to have in the kitchen.

VFM Palo Cortados by nature are variable so you never quite know what you will get in the bottle, this was quite leggy and slightly unctious lemon peel and orange on the nose some of the same with a nice bit of acidity holding it together, a good buy at this price.

Lots of burned citrus peel and toasty nutty notes with a certain sweet truffle quality as well. There is viscosity, but also a certain energy that makes this incredibly cleansing when munching away on Spanish charcuterie. Still one of the best wine buys out there.
