  Extracted and big, but good. A bit chewy, leather, earthy. Dark cherry. Pretty good. Has held up well.

  Very nice - round earthy notes with wet leaves on nose. Palate showed more complexity and undergrowth with touch of spice and length, with clean and balanced finish. Needed to keep sipping this. Certainly ready to drink now, but seemed likely to keep for at leaset a few years as well.

  This wine was opened and poured. It showed similar aromatics to previous bottles; however, the palate, at this showing comes across as thin and more acidic. This wine has shown very well in the past with a fuller richer showing on the palate. Currently the compelling aromatics keep this wine interesting and if the palate resolves its current unbalanced feel this will once again rate as an outstanding wine. At this point, this may benefit from a couple of years of bottle age.
