  Auction purchase a few years ago, so might not have had the best storage before that.
  Brassy, deepish gold.
  Soft, elegant, yet rich nose, with peach and beurre noisette and a touch of pear.
  Delicious attack: rich, and a certainly feeling fairly sweet. Auslese level of sweetness in German terms. But very, very elegant. Deep and rich and full, with enormous length after. Lovely balance. Really delicious.

  A mid-, slightly oxidised looking brassy gold. Fairly soft, quite elegant pinot gris nose, laden with tropical fruit with hints of coriander and cumin. Clean, fresh attack. Really spicy immediately after. Then a full richness with quite a bit of sweetness and fat. But well-balanced and not at all overdone. Powerful stuff, all the same. Very Good Indeed.
