Slightly reddish amber colour. Developed sweet and aromatic nose with cooked pears, zest, some red berries, dried fruit, botrytis, brown sugar, some spices and some oxidation notes. Gives an impression of oxidative oak barrel treatment, perhaps a bit like a Moscatel de Setúbal. Sweet (slightly above a typical Beerenauslese level in impression), quite good concentration of fruit, dried fruit, a bit of red berries, caramel notes, a bit of spice, and high acidity. A fine wine with a lot of weight that is fully developed, but perhaps lacks the elegance of the best sweet German Rieslings with some age, 89 p. From half bottle.
