  Brought from Croatia 10 years ago, still ok, but a lot of cherry, no Fresh fruit

  The highlight was that we had brought the bottle back from Croatia. It was opposite from what we really like. It was light in color, very .fruity and needed time to open. It was in our minds a light, fruity summer wine

  After tasting or better said drinking so many good Croatian wines, this was the first disappointment. It might have been stored too warm or it is just a wine that should be drunk young.

  Wow, unexpected star from non traditional region. Very much north Italy style, rich on the nose and on the palate. Though wine seems to be young it is aging fast. Drink now or in 2012

  Decanted for about 30 mins. Initially the nose was really funky and barnyardy, but with some airtime fresh notes of lingonberry emerged, even going slightly over the top towards sweetish candylike aromas. On the palate, quite a bit of tannins, good acidic bite, red berries like lingonberry. This is good, but the nose is a little OTT, palate is great. Seems this is in a good spot now.
