This one just seemed a little flatter then the first bottle, hence the slightly lower score. Enjoyed with Kim over last few nights, some improvement second night from first night then no further improvement. A big, dark and single dimensional entry level Spanish monastrell, a reasonably nice daily drinker and at less then $ 10 / bottle this is a decent QPR. Dark, big, fruit forward, big mouth feel. Generally agree with previous tasting experience: nose of dark stone fruit and molasses, primary flavors include loads of dark fruit, some oak, coffee and blueberry. Would recommend for consideration into the daily drinker rotation but nothing more then that.

A nice, big and somewhat monolithic entry level Spanish monastrell drank with Kim over last couple of evenings, sipping after dinner. This is a nice daily drinker and at less then $ 10 / bottle this is a decent QPR. Dark, big, very fruit forward, huge mouth feel, almost cloying at times. Nose of dark stone fruit and molasses, primary flavors include loads of dark fruit, some oak, coffee and blueberry. This is a reasonably good very inexpensive wine, would recommend it for consideration into the daily drinker rotation but nothing more then that.
