Dinner with Andrew of CellarTracker fame (Chicago, IL): #20-77, 10% abv [doubt]. Very dark brown, Madeira-like colour. Mature botrytis notes, with a slightly thinner texture on the palate than the sweetness and some really elegant lightness. I actually quite like the balance here; there's a lot of figs, dates, that kind of thing. These old TBAs can be pretty impressive.

Chuckwood - Black in color but nose sweet and so alluring. Wine fully intact and this beauty had layers and layers of magical honeyed fruit and depth with endless finish. Paired with grilled fois gros. Tres bon!
