Brightly aromatic, cherry, plum, vanilla, hints of pepper/cardamon. And an unusual wood-y smell that I don't recognize. Maybe this is what Slovenian oak smells like? Less going on palate-wise. One note, black cherry, with some sour, biting tannins. This was good. The nose was really intriguing. But it's pretty steep for pizza wine.
