Tasted after 30 minutes or air. No sign this is 17 years old. Very fresh. Crunchy raspberry fruit. Nice spice. Nice violets on the mid palate lift. These Oregon Pinots can last 20+ years.

Popped and poured. Medium garnet color with some browning. Lively raspberry fruit. Very fresh. Got this on Wine Bid. Must have been some library stock direct from the winery. Great deal at $29.25 a bottle. Some mushroom and tea notes. Spice. Very interesting. A great wine.

Nice muted cranberry fruit. Some good crunch. Some spice on the mid palate lift. Some tea notes. Long smooth finish. An excellent wine with plenty of life left. No rush on these. Winebid has been closing out these older Willakenzie wines. Picked these up for < $30 a bottle which is a great deal considering they are selling the new vintages close to $80. I'm guessing these came from the Willakenzie cellar stash that Jackson Family is trying to sell since they bought this winery.

Strong scent of cherry, currants and black licorice on the nose. Big finish of cherry followed by vanilla and cedar that lingers. Highly recommend!
