(OH tasting bottle 11/17 - mine, sourced Village Corner) A 1/3 shadow of the above. Just dimmed and not expressive at all. Still quality enough to win its class, but not the beauty.

Gourmet Dinner #1- All American Summer Fare (Chateau VinoMe): Scubarex opened this bottle which he purchased on his recent trip to Northern Michigan. I haven't had a Black Star wine in probably 2 years. Always liked this winery and they have made some impressive wines. This was very good. Unoaked and made in a Chablis style. Crisp, clean and filled with lemon and apple notes. 89-90 points.

Ohio vs Michigan Wine Clash 2008; 11/16/2008-11/20/2008 (Ann Arbor, MI & Columbus, OH): (MI tasting bottle 11/16)Nice nose with a touch of bread and lime. Dry peach notes. Great acids and delineation. Citrus, slight tropical and a real purity in the texture. Great balance. Really nice.
