This wine has really come into its prime drinking window. Deep purple, rich vs. light, elegant vs. rustic, it's barbera in a suit and tie. Wish I had more!

Gary and Rona's BBQ -- I am sucker for this, with its inky, unctuous fruit and chocolate. Lower in acidity than your average Barbera I guess, but still good with food. A hedonist's delight!

Bright and tart red cherries. Good mouthfeel and acidity but not a deep wine. A bit of cola which I wasn't expecting, and a hint of fizziness.

Heirloom tomato tasting Linda -- good bright and ultra ripe fruit. Good food wine too tho, with enough balance to work.
