  Screwcap. Nose shows a strong note of blackcurrant, a hint of oregano, and perfumed notes of vanilla and violet. Palate shows intense flavours of sweet blackcurrant, graphite, and cola syrup, balanced by intense acidity. Moderate, smooth tannins lounge in the background.

  Going threw the cellar i came across this multi awarding winning wine from 2007/2008 years in the Aust wine Show circuit. a great wine in its youth , now lets see how its going more than 13 yrs on. Stelvin Closure nice
  Black Ruby in colour with a ruby rim an some maturity as you would except at Sept 2018. Maturing an ready.
  On opening, leaping out of the glass is lovely pruney mature syrah fruit, with still some nice american oak showing giving great balance of fruit an oak ,v/nice an still lovely an ready in my opinion now.
  On the palate we have sweet maturing fruit flavours similar to above upfront , still rich sweet mid palate with still some soft tannins to loose giving great length an persistence. excellent savoury style from Margaret River , an just shows how good Syrah can be from WA. I have seen this wine at Auctions in Aust. at very good prices under $30 which is excellent value. If you still have enjoy over the next few years as its nearing its best .

  Wonderful wine. Decanted for two hours. Full bodied with fruit a plenty. Beautifully integrated fine tannins. Lovely oak.
  
  Still has at least another 2 to 3 years to go But was drinking perfectly now.
