Truly a lovely and unusual Viognier. This wine is surprisingly big and bold. Quite full and round with good stone fruit flavours, especially apricot. The wine has a long way to go. Leave for 12 months before trying again to let the full varietal characters develop and mature. Will be a very rewarding wine in the future.

This is not your usual viognier. From cool climate Orange, it is literally bursting with tropical fruit flavours, both on the nose and on the palate, plus a adequate lick of acid. There is not much complexity to the wine, but it is certainly an unusual example of the varietal.
