Decanted for 1 hour. Delicious right now even if a bit tannic for a 16 year old wine. Definitely will hold up well for another 5-10 years. A big, brooding wine.

Still a very tannic and forward Napa cab after all these years. Probably has at least another 5 years to go before it starts calming down. Big and robust, the blackberry, tobacco, and tannins still hit like an early wine. Settles down after a bit in the decanter but still feels young even for a 2001. The high alcohol is apparent, but it is a Napa cab. Overall a great cellar wine that still has legs.

Hollywood & Vine's "2480" Cabernet is packaged in what is perhaps the heaviest wine bottle I have ever lifted. Tasted in double-blind fashion from a bottle kindly provided by J.G., it flaunts beautiful aromas and flavors of black cherries, licorice, baking spices, espresso and dark chocolate. Full-bodied and with low acidity, it wraps its flavors with big sweet tannins and shows no heat from its 14.2% alcohol. Nicely dense in the middle and long on the back end, this is a very hedonistic offering that should provide pleasure for another decade (or more). Drink now-2025.

This was very nice, mature cab. Had nice body and viscosity without being syrupy. Plum and black cherry notes with some tobacco. Any oak and tannins were well integrated. Fragrant nose. Great QPR right now

A very nice Napa Cab.
Body, depth, good finish, satisfying...but, somehow, not memorable.
I liked it, but am not sorry that my last bottle is gone.
