  • Aroma: Honeyed, herbs, perfumy (lychee, baking spices).Palate: honey, adequate acidity but the 15% abv finishes off a bit hot. A big wine that was ok as aperitif, but grew tiresome over the course of a bottle split 3 ways. I was yearning for something else despite the fact that it's an interesting, mature tokay. Drink now, and memories of less ripe vintages are better than this one. Great value.
