  • I give this wine an 85 for the simple reason that it had the misfortune to be the first wine I've tried to think about as I drank it.

This is a fruity, dry, and slightly acidic wine, with a medium length. It was struck me as being on the softer side of firm. I felt I caught black currants and cherries in the flavor, and maybe smelled what I would describe as rose hips. The wine was medium-bodied, reasonably complex and deep. It went nicely with fish and pasta.

We drank this wine over four days, storing the bottle with a cork in the refrigerator. By the fourth day, it had clearly gone down hill. We actually felt that we like the flavor best on the second day, as the flavors seemed more complex and the tannins had softened.
