Very developed nose, quite complex but a bit rough with aromas of oak, smoke, sour cherries, iron, exotic spices and dark fruits. Nice medium body with fat fruit, good grip, violets, morello, cigarre box, sandalwood, iron and mineral. Very tasty, but too sturdy and inelegant for its origin. We guessed Pommard. The tannins were quite harsh and a little bit short on the finish.

I've noted before that the bottle variation with this wine has been extreme. This was easily the best so far though. Brilliant ruby red, great fruit, very together and great length.

this is the 4th bottle of a half case. Variation bottle to bottle has been large and this, sadly, was at the poor end. The nose was of damp, freshly fallen autumn leaves. On the mouth more of the same. We decanted it, on the chance it might improve - and it did, a little anyway. I hope the next bottles are better.

Excellent wine for volnay and 2000. Medium red, dense color. Sweet and ripe red berries in the nose. Yummy feeling on the palate, some secondary flavors, drinking very well with food ( gooseliver). On top now .

Pinot Noir Tasting (Meo Camuzet, Flowers, Hansel, Cristom...) (Zoot Restaurant): Wild nose of BBQ Meat, ox blood, smoke, dark fruit (plum and bing cherry), and a touch of spice. This is still quite a tannic wine, but the blackberry fruitreally shines. Interestingly, I was getting a shred of asian spice which reminded me of RRV Pinots. Long finish.
