Dark garnet red. Sweet-and-sour plums and grape juice on the nose, with a palate that's sweet but not too weighed down, finishing with a strong note of violet pastille. Fairly showy if not oaky in style.

Hints of dark fruit and lavender on the nose with beef jerkey, spice, and cinnamon on the palate. Needs a bit more time int he bottle however.
