  • Fantastic Riesling. Straw yellow in the glass. The nose was very muted, but there were a lot of flavors present. Flinty minerality dominated, with slight citrus and green apple hints. As the wine warmed up I also picked up some lemon grass. The nose also became less muted as the wine warmed up. The mouthfeel was very crisp, with nice acidity. The front of the palate immediately bursts with pear and green apple. The finish was tart (in a good way) with grapefruit and lemon. This wine had nice structure and balance, and I think would make a great food wine. An excellent wine that exhibits the best qualities of Riesling. Will buy again.
