This wine keeps improving. Better integtration of the blue fruits with the forest notes. Not harsh, but still intense and full. Not a typical California cab, but nothing wrong with that! Excellent QPR.

Similar tasting notes as before. I did not note the bitterness on the finish this time and while I noted high tannins I did not note that it was super dry. Same nose and flavor profile, but perhaps it is starting to smooth out? Still, I think yonger rather than older for this bottle. Excellent QPR.

I wanted to taste to see how it was aging. The color has a nice purple core which is starting to fade toward a brick red on the rim. It looks younger to me than it is though. Spicy and pepper on the nose with a bit of pine undertones. Strong pine and forest tastes with bitterness on the finish. Very dry with little fruit noticeable on the middle or finish. It has the acidity and tannins to age, but I am concerned that the fruit will fade too early. It was still quite an enjoyable wine and the QPR is great. I am concerned with the 2015 drinking window however. I would like to try again in a year. I did not enter a new window at this time.

Nicely integrated. Smooth with fruit and floral notes. Not complex. Moderate finish.
