Drank with 2001 of same producer, same wine. 2002 clearly more substantial while retaining its finesse. This is a more delicate, subtle version of a Pugliny-Montrachet.

Bourgogne Blanc Survey (Vino Vino Wine): Reminded me of a PM village wine, only not as smooth. Some of the same flavors... but I'm struggling to explain what those are. My favorite of the tasting. (++)

A good nose of green fruit with good mineral and acid balance while not interfering with the fruit. All in all a great everyday white burgundy, if only the mojarra frita had been on the meal would have been memorable.

Served blind to go with a Loin of cod with rosemary butter and a cèpe, fennel and garlic emulsion. The wine had quite a rich nose; buttery with a hint of oak. Clearly chardonnay, but I wondered if there's something else in it too, as there seemed a touch too much freshness for a straight chardonnay, although it could be a basic burgundy or chablis. Crisp, yet creamy on the palate with very good length. Good/Very Good.
