tasted at the Bottle Shop 2006 Burgundy tasting - medium ruby color and a reticient nose with darkish fruit barely emerging. On the palate, sweet berry fruit notes, nicely balanced with acidity and a little complexity, with some tannin showing on the finish. Small scale, but classic in style and even elegant in its overall harmony. Needs a few years to integrate the tannins, but this will be a very pleasant drink for the meduim term starting around 2010 or 2011. Also a reasonably good value.

Elegant, with relatively firm tannins for a Burgundy. Rich fruits - black cherry, red raspberry.
