  • Vibrant and refreshing, with aromas of crushed blackberries and vanilla, followed by chewy flavors of raspberries, plums and spice, with some dusty tannins firming up the mouthwatering finish. Recommended.

  • We drank this wine while watching the movie "Bottle Shock" and found it delightful. It's fruit-forward without being jammy, and has a tannin that begets complexity but doesn't render the wine unapproachable. Paired with a Swiss, cheddar, and bleu cheese plate, and made for a marvelous tasting. The nose is perhaps too subtle to due the palate justice, which harmonizes cherry, blackberry, and strawberry. The only aspect left desired is a longer finish (we get about 15-20 seconds). Although the movie champions Napa, we like to explore other Californian counties which the French have yet to publicize. Vive le California!

  • decanted for about 45 minutes. initially on the nose there is eucalyptus, raspberries, and blueberries. On the palate the wine is very fruit forward. Not over the top, but present. After another hour the wine has calmed down a bit and on the palate the raspberries and blackberries are in tune. A nice wine for $11, will look for a few more

  • Blueberry and blackberry, all the way. A little eucalyptus in the mouth on the finish. Some tannin, surprisingly.

    Drink now through 2015
