NOSE: nice primary/tertiary balance with the fruit aromas --- fresh cherries and baked cherries; hints of leather and ash; bit of a “greenness” to it, as well.

BODY: sediment present; hazy garnet-ruby color of medium-deep depth with slight bricking at the edges; light to medium-light bodied.

TASTE: light, non-descript red fruits; clean; hint of leather; clean; little bit of tannin still hanging around; slight alcohol taste; 13% alc.; medium acidity; not much stuffing or complexity; seems to be going downhill; watery; there’s simply not much here; smelled much better than it tasted.
