- Garnet color with slow forming legs and aromas of oak, blackberry, mushroom and chocolate. It's balanced and has flavours of raspberry, black pepper and cedar with a medium/full body. Smooth texture with a long finish.

Black in color. Slight hints of spice, but mostly crushed dark red fruit, a touch of smoke and leather. The tannins are real and mild in length. The wine is not ready yet. Opened for a hour, then two before I started tasting notes. The wine paired well with baked salmon dish that had deep flavors, including sage - parmesan - olive oil rub on the salmon, baked to perfection. The wine did not overpower the salmon and matched pretty well. We choise to test it over a Pinot and it worked.
