Truffles and a couple of bottles: Blind. Crimson coloured. Roses, cranberry, cherry and blackcurrant. Sweet fruit, this is ripe and delicious. Finds beautiful balance with great structure in behind. Powerful, young but really super stuff.

2010 Two Hands Garden Series plus a lot more (Colonial Beverage, Chesterland Ohio): My first time trying this IIRC. It is still drinking very young, so I would not be in a hurry to open it. Like many of its era, it seems to be a monster Shiraz. Inky in color. The nose has black raspberries, some black pepper and a bit of cedar. The nose is actually not huge but very balanced. On the palate, there is a lot of intense fruit. Black raspberries mostly. Finishes a bit cough medicine-like with slight heat. It was pop and pour and I think some air would help it greatly.

Not decanted. Awesome nose of cake icing, ripe but restrained blackberry and blueberry, dried dill, and crushed rocks. Huge palate of ripe black/purple fruit and raspberry liqueur, somehow not a heavy mouthfeel, then intense acidity that still needs time to calm down. Drink 2016-2020. 94-95 points.

Below the bottle I drank in April 2013. Good balance between fruit and acidity. Elegant.
