4th Saturday Group brown bagger (R&D's): Double blind. Medium amber color. Aromas of honeyed orchard fruit and orange, bordering on marmalade. Rich and layered, with peach, honey, marmalade and tropical hints on the palate. Reminds me of a tokaji or Alsatian SGN. Guessed Alsatian, and we even have this in the cellar...always nice to get a data point on something in the cellar.

Very balanced - nice acidity and lingering sweetness. But not overly sweet! Greta with crème brulee!

Dinner with Friends: Various 2000s: Light amber color. Apricot and stone fruit on the nose and palate. Long finish. Good underlying acidity.
