  • Medium red color with an intriguing nose of earth, evergreen, and red cherry. The sip is limpid and round, with a background of light and drying tannin plus a juicy acidity and unusual hint of red raspberry. The swallow begins with a spike of refreshing acidity and finishes with a touch of leather. Overall, a good expression of the delicate and elegant side of Pinot Noir, lacking any rich or dominate flavor, but nicely featuring a complex and interesting interplay of secondary flavors.

  • Mere ruby in color, a slight prune plum in the nose, a lightly sweet edge in the mouth, and a fairly short and moderately tannic aftertaste. Drinkable, but without being bright, concentrated, or delicious.

  • Paper filtered and decanted yielding a bright ruby liquor and leaving almost nothing in the filter. This was bursting with red fruit flavors, mostly bright cherry and strawberry. While there was very little complication, the finish was substantial and lingering. The wine improved very little in the decanter after about 2 hours, and in the end was a simple, but, pleasurable pinot.

    Persistance moyenne.

  • A brilliant ruby colored wine with luscious aromas of cherries and raspberries and a lovely mouthful of fruity cherry and strawberry with a nice smooth finish with lingering sweetness on the palate.
