  This is a great wine. I wish to be a great writer and described of wine. It was still a lot of fruit with hints of tobacco and pepper. Had with a Moroccan Chicken, it was superb. I will be buying more on my summer trip to Carmel.

  Great syrah and a wonderful contrast to those of Sonoma and Napa. Dark ruby in color, but not inky. Less dry and mineral laden than other big California syrahs, it displays a very fleshy nose and palate. Wonderful violet, bacon, cedar and berries. Very slightly sweet tannins. This one should put Carmel Valley on everyone's list to visit and taste!!!
