Nose is perfect here. Huge earth and Dundee-like sulphur, with a touch of oak. Initial flavor is right on, sharp acids backed by classic Oregon pinot bing cherry, but then for some reason it falls off. It's not young or too early, the flavor is right. But it truly just falls off a cliff toward the midpalate. Got a bit better over 60 minutes of decanting, particularly the nose, which added a nice floral quality. But the length of flavor just wasn't there. Still, a good value I think. Great with salmon, as most pinots are.

The '07 Oregon Pinots were not nearly as good as the '06 or '08 on either side it. These are more light and fruity wines. Don't wait too long. I thought it was pretty good. About what you would expect. A typical Oregon Pinot with it's light body and fruity, but earthy nose, with a crisp, but simple finish. Didn't blow me away, but it was solid.
