  The wine was decanted for two hours plus. Deep garnet color. Well balanced. Minerality and black fruits with a very slight whiff of oak. Highly structured and austere, but not in an intimidating way. The wine is eminently tasteful and elegant, and it does soften as it breathes. Still has the impresssion of youth; it is certainly enjoyable now, but no reason to hurry with this. Leave it for five or ten years if you can.
