  Scared it'd be toast by the look of the cork, etc. It was a true gem. How I love whites as they age. This probably has 5-10 more years in it. A big and powerful wine with sweetness like dried papaya or dried pineapple. Worked well with most every food pairing i threw at it. A wine worth noticing. The wife agreed with scoring and noticed hints of melon.
