  Under screwcap, showing appropriate evolution for a 2006 Bordeaux blend. Stored properly since release. Drinking better than my last TN suggests (reading it now). Red and black plums, cassis, tinned prunes and a little clove on the nose. Also, some sous bois and mushroom. On palate, a little savoury progression. Fresh and preserved black and red fruit, dry underbrush, old leather and warm earth. Good acidity and balance. Fine grained tannins. Developing some attractive secondary nuance. Drink or hold (no hurry needed here).

  A well regarded wine on release. Under screw cap. A nice Cabernet nose of cassis, underbrush, leather and mixed dried herbs and spices. On palate, a little below medium weight, showing some evolution. Spicy, red berried flavours, with some dry brushwood and tobacco. Fruit, acids and oak in good balance. No fruit bomb but a little too straightforward to be really interesting. Not falling over yet but I wouldn't think it would improve from here so drink soon.
