  Excellent aged Cabernet-based wine from the northeast of Spain. At this point, the wine is all about the secondary - aromas and flavors. The wine is medium plus body but much of the primary fruit has gone. Forest floor, wet decaying leaves and sous bois remain. That, combined with dried tart cherry, potpourri and a hint of balsamic. Tasty stuff that compelled me to keep shoving my nose in the glass. There is also plenty of structure left, so I think this has an extended window into another 10 years.
