This was a leaking bottle that I unsuccessfully tried to seal with beeswax. I'm not sure how much this affected the bottle, but it seems a bit "light" although, delicious with notes of snicker doodles, maple and toasted nuts.

Warming aromas of butterscotch and caramel. The palate matches with a slightly thick texture, but also shows twigs, nuttiness and spice. Pleasant finish, never hot. All in all a very nice Tawny.

No formal notes. This was a nice basic tawny port, with nut, caramel, and spice on the nose and a good fresh palate impression of raisin and cinnamon. A great companion while decorating the Christmas tree.

Pale color. Strong impression of grilled nuts on the nose. Cherry liqueur flavors with good acidity and moderate sweetness. Very good standard issue tawny.

Delicious wine. Graham cracker, dried red raspberry and black cherry. Full bodied and elegant. Rich with bold intensity. Long finish. Bottled in 2010.
