  Nose had a hint of spicebox but mostly berry. Palate was dark berries, and a bit on the oaky side with a hint of cocoa. Medium in body and tannins were a bit aggressive but not overly so. Drink with some lamb or beef and you're set. A fruit-forward style of Bordeaux. Good QpR Bordeaux and would buy again especially at this price.

  Deep ruby color. Overwhelming tannins after opening the bottle which eased after an hour of decanting. Notes of dark berries, plum, brown sugar, and chocolate. We felt this wine would benefit from waiting a bit longer to get the rough tannins smoothed out which were still quite strong at the end of the tasting.
