Quite oaky on the nose, complex aromas (yellow fruit, green olive, herbs, crisp acidity), deep and well-integated, fresh and grapey; powerful, rich and full, "gras" balanced by acidity, candied fruit and oak flavours; lovely length.

L's New Years Dinner: Similar experience than with the 1998 Meursault, bought 2 bottles, one was premox, the other was perfect.
Smell was good upon opening, so no aeration.
Notes of oak on the nose, brioche and flowers.
Buttery and round mouth, no alcool feeling, just a bit of sugar at the end.
A nice mature burgundy shared with good friends.
