Semi-Blind White Wine Tasting (Casa Roberts): an odd sweetness on this -- caramel nose with some simple grape concentrate. On the palate I got weird Sake notes -- not what I expected at all.

Semi-Blind Whites (Our House -- Philadelphia): Slightly disappointing, especially factoring in the $35 price point. Most expensive wine of the flight. Sweet nose. A lot of minerals. Lacks acidity and sweet spice. Rye on the nose. Flat palate. Not providing the complexity you'd expect from a wine with this pedigree. Tastes good, but for $35 I expected more. The finish was probably the best of the flight, but this was underwhelming.

Nice, but underwhelming. Slight flat and uninspiring. Not what I expected from a Sancerre at this price level. Not bad, but not great either.
