It is hard to get consistent comments on a non-vintage wine so I will not give a rating to this one. This particular bottle was purchased nearly three years ago and having tasted some more recently I will say the later "batches" are much better than this one was. Most (if not all) CH wines are meant for drinking and not aging so cellaring this one for three years sure didn't help it at all. I would have rated this bottle high 70's--it was not very good. It was weak, and linear with a not so pleasant finish. But if you have a more recent bottle I think you will find it to be much better. Still, plan to buy and consume as there is really not much if any benefit to cellaring.

Simple and enjoyable. I agree with an earlier review that this is a perfectly acceptable but not exceptional offering, rather on the light side for a cabernet sauvignon.

basic, dumbed down, sweet, light. not a bad tasting wine - but one that is manufactured to please 100% of the people - not make them go wow - but simply not have anyone say yuck. This is the definitiion of average. got it as a gift
