Tastes like apple juice with a nice core of acidity and just a touch of oak. Showing a lot better than my last bottle of this, it has both weight and some finesse. I like this wine quite a bit, but it could have more complexity, as this is the wine's weakest side.

Exactly what you'd expect from Carneros Chardonnay--buttery apples--but without being too over the top in terms of ripness and oak. I thought this was really tasty with some good secondary subtleties and a nice long finish.
